My colorful Saturday~

               This weekend, it is a very busy day for me. The most interesting that is Marina, Kei and I we went to Northgate mall and go shopping. First of all, we went to eat to a big buffet. There is a lot of delicious Asian food. I ate a lot of them. My favorite food in that restaurant is dumpling. I also like to eat dumpling very much. After we left from this mall, we went to Chinatown. During the dinner time, we went to a Seafood restaurant. We also ate a lot of food. Rongyue Wang and Zhentian Zhang they ate a lot of crawfishes. We felt very surprised. After dinner, we went to see a movie in Downtown, Seattle. Its name is “Attack in the Block”. It is a very funny and a little scary movie, and I like it. This is a very interesting Saturday for me. I enjoyed it very much.

An interesting weekend

Last week, I did a lot of things on the weekend. Thursday, after class my friends with me we went to a Chinese restaurant and eat some delicious food. 

Friday, we went to another restaurant and eat some Chinese food again. Now, I find I miss my hometown’s food very much. Even I will go back to China after summer quarter. But, I do not have enough time to go to my hometown. I will go to see my mom in Xinjiang province. So, it means I also need to take a long trip in China. Xinjiang is very far from Beijing. Every year, I go to this place all need to take almost 6 hours airplane. 

Saturday, I planned to go to see the biggest parade in Seattle every year. Its name is Seattle Sea Fair. But, we just went to shopping and forget the time. After we ate dinner in Chinatown, we had to go home. The time is already so late. Sunday, I stayed at home and spend a lot of time to sleep. I felt a little tired. I watched some cartoons and movies. It was a very interesting weekend for me I like it.

My Birthday Party

Yesterday, it was my nineteenth birthday. The date was on July 24. I had a great time on this day. My friends and I went to a Chinese restaurant on Saturday afternoon. Its name is Facing East Taiwanese Restaurant. We ate a lot of delicious food. I think this is a great restaurant. After we ate dinner outside, we went to my house. We had a small party.

First of all, we played poker together. One of my friends, I did not really want to tell you his name, he always become a loser. Absolutely, he had a very unlucky day. So, he drank a lot of water. Because of we had a rule for loser at the party that was the loser of the poker game needed to drink three cups water. Whenever, we all felt very happy at the party.

And then, we ate a cake together. It was a little sweet. But, I like it very much. We also watched some TV shows. We played together until Sunday morning. It was a very great birthday party for me. Thanks to all of my friends at the party. We all had a good time.

Bite of Seattle 2011

Last weekend, I went to Seattle Center. My friends and I joined in an activity. Its name is Bite of Seattle 2011. The activity holds at Seattle Center every year. I heard about a lot of festivals and special events held at Seattle Center each year. But, the Bite of Seattle was the most popular one.
We came to the event on Saturday afternoon. There were many different kinds of delicious food, drinks, ornaments, and so on.  I like them very much. I bought a baked corn, and a lemon-strawberry ice juice. They tasted very good.
It was also a beautiful weather. Several bands sang some very good songs in the activity. After that, we went to see a special high jump match, it was for dogs. A lot of dogs joined in it. They are very cute. Even my favorite one it was not have a good grade, I still very like the match. We all had a great time on this activity.

Important events in this week-2011/7/10

This week is the first week in the new quarter, and I think it was make me feel happy and sad. First of all, when I went to school on Tuesday, I was very sad I have to get up early. Last quarter all my classes were in the afternoon, and when I took the spring break, I was wake up until noon almost every day. Well, now I understand I need have a good sleep habit that is very important for my life and study. Even the time is changed, I also feel happy because of it is a new beginning for everyone. We should work hard. I took a new college class, I was happy the teacher was very nice. On Friday, when I got up, I found a few days ago I bought two things on eBay, and they were sent to my home. They are a long sword and a coffee pot. I like to collect metal things, so when I saw the sword, and it was very cheap. I bought it very soon. I like to drink green tea latte, so I bought a coffee pot and I want to try to make it by myself. Now, you can see the pictures about the two things, they are very beautiful, I like them very much.
